Who say the Virgin Mary isnt sexy? I think shes so pure and beautiful and depicted as a modern woman she would be a bit sexier dressed... still with class and gentleness. The Jean Paul Gaultier show is a representation of this. I think it is a way to play with creativity. Id like to paint myself somewheat white, rosy cheeka and a layer over it of glitter. I will need the cloaking hood, a goddess dress, w whites, light blue and gold. and a crown or aura, maybe flowers, maybe crucifixes, maybe pregnant, maybe w baby jesus.
